5th August 2020: Further Work on Website

Fonts:

I wanted to use a simple and easy to read font for the words and something more stylish for the

header, my name and the navigation bar. The research I found suggested that versions of Open

Sans was best. “It was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet friendly

appearance. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility

characteristics in its letterforms.” I used this website https://fontpair.co/ to match up fonts that

looked good together. I found Jura was the right style for me, a match with Open Sans

Condensed and both were available on Wix

More in-depth designing of the site:

Wix.com gives various options for images, so I used the editor too add the pictures. I wanted to

create a magazine style, so I have various options to choose from. I kept using the preview mode

to see which looked best. I customised it where the templates were not quite right.
